Today I am watching the Michael Dunn trial. I find this helpful as a writer. We see how people present evidence and how others interpret the facts. We get a view of how a defendant’s behavior affects jury and onlookers. In this time of Twitter and Facebook we see how preexisting notions influence public response. All of this is great for a writer. I suggest you watch a trial and take note. Also, observe your own observations.
Have you watched trials? What did you learn from them?
